• Obtain all theatre lists for upcoming surgeries and upload patients to MediTrust
• Send IFCs to patients pre-operatively, manage electronic consent of same
• Provide verbal IFC when patients enquire, in advance of procedure
• Pre-collection of all uninsured patients, full fees and OOPs where required
• Full management of MediTrust – including Calendar, integrity of data and updating of fees as requested

• Preparation of all patient accounts, post-surgery
• Preparation of all private health fund, Medicare-only, TAC/DVA, WorkCover and other 3rd party accounts
• Facilitating payment of accounts
• Online processing of patient claims to enable rebates, receipting of same

• Regular follow-up of outstanding accounts – these can be related to health fund rejections, basic cover exclusions to phone inquiries, patient liaison and obtaining WorkCover approvals

Doctors can be provided several financial reports, upon request. Including but not limited to:

• Quarterly statements for BAS reconciliation purposes
• End of Year statements
• Weekly/monthly/quarterly banking reports
• Debt collection reports for open accounts
